google loads on its own over and over

hi guys hope you can help-i got a laptop and itsjust started to load google homepage on its own.

it will load the page up 10 times or more ,i've done cc cleaner ,malware scan and full nod 32 scan and everything is clean. any ideas chaps

malware scan? never heard of it.

my guess it you need some better scanning tools. go for Malwarebytes Anti-Malware/Spybot S&D - make sure they are up to date too. (IE.. download them and go through the update process once installed)

ye i ment malwarebytes -done that and full virus scan and all clean and still getting same problem

try a-squared. Thats worked for me in the past when others haven't. Might be worth a go.

have you checked the default homepage?

maybe try hijack this and zip/attach log on here..

google "stinger disk"...on a different machine obviously then create a boot disk and boot off that to be safe...

It's a new google feature... streaming search, was all over the news Yesterday.

Click the turn off streaming button to stop it!!

I noticed this.

It automatically searches for stuff as your typing your search criteria.
Change the 'Instant is on' to off.

I would turn it off. It's probably mucking up your PC. Try installing Google Chrome.
I should think it wouldnt do it in that.

just popped a new drive in it and formatted and guess what ....... still doing the same ??????????
