This poor spider is stood across the way into the egg sac area of the leaf in which it's babies are brooding. The wet weather has soaked everywhere, including her home, but I figure that spiders are clever enough to house their young in a way that allows rain water to mostly bypass them so that they survive.

She is looking wet enough from the last downpour, and you can see the rain in the silk as well here.
