having trouble using widows live id shows error 0x80048823 downloads everything except todays new messages & cannot send messages any help to restore problem appreciated scanned net but cannot resolve

Check your date and time. Windows live encrypts data and usesthe current time to do it. If it's more than 5 minutes out it won't talk to the servers properly.
