Well after all this problem trying to get card to work on my sim it seems that problem was not me it is phone has been IMEI blocked and the fucker on AVforums stitched me right up for £290. what can I do - grrrr its not just the money I spent hours trying to work out what I done wrong....now find out its IMEI blocked.... what can I do now ...trade was 2 weeks ago?? police? ?

I'd try the old bill.

It was a trade? What details do you have? Also the mods on AVforums don't take scams lightly. So contact them. They may be able to provide more details for when you go to the Police.

thanks, seems I need to go to the Police in the morning. dont know what else I can do - I will just buy phones in shops in future. I now have all his details, name address, telephone numbers and bank account details.

I posted this in the AV forum but they have deleted it. Police and Phone company immediately. I also said the with respect to this (AV) and other forums that sanctions made will not really have any meaningful effect on you seller. They seem not to have liked this, touchy lot!

I dont know if you want update on this but it turns out this guy has done the same thing twice before on AV forums and been banned twice before - now I £300 donw the pan and a galaxy shaped paperweight,

this guy lives in Hawick and his name and address is posted in the BAD TRADERS section and wonder if any DFers near him?

Strangely enough, they ceased all mobile phone trading just hours after I listed a Samsung Galaxy S for sale, typical, lol!

Gutted for you though mate, I always felt safe trading on the mobile classifieds over there!
