    Photos Woolly Beastie!

Not a sheep, no. But a caterpillar (what else?) When I went into the garden this afternoon, I noticed that one of the leaves on the rhubarb had been 50% decimated by something, holes all over it. One quick look underneath and I found a delightful woolly bear (tiger moth caterpillar I believe) holding on to the underside of the leaf.

Talk about a voracious appetite that just one caterpillar has, I dread to think if there were a dozen!

Anyway, got a few decent close-ups, including some where it is busy chomping away, and making the leaf edge disappear at a rapid rate!
