No they weren't they were well beaten by a quality Newcastle side - even the blues diving for a penalty couldn't save them

Well done Newcastle and also West Brom.
Just need Northampton to complete a hat-trick of sorts, 2-1 up at Anfield ATM.

Whoop!!!!
chelsea fans will most likely come out with excuses like they werent playin their full team, but neither were we
Bang Bang,
you just dropped dead
Bit of a difference between Chelsea's full team and yours though to be honest
Yeah we kept all 11 on the pitch and never gave up trying - they turned up expecting to thrash us and got an easy gifted goal thanks to that muppet campbell (no wonder he was fooking free) they were coasting then we turned it on and they couldn't cope with a team actually attacking them - probably cos they arent used to it
Fair play to you, I'm not knocking you mind
And here I was thinking that Chelsea were going to do the Quadruple as Drogba and Malouda were bragging about.Egg on face.
Liverpool, City and Chelsea, all in one night. I have to say I chuckled as I watched Scunthorpe hit 22 shots against United's 7, just 5 of ours went in. When your goalie gets MOTM against Scunthorpe you need to be concerned!
I thought kuscack was shocling mate, he seems to want to punch everything. Alright there were a couple last night that needed punching out but he could have just caught about 75% of the shots hit at him last night, he really worries me his kicking is awful and he was dwelling too long on pass backs nearly getting caught out by the pace of that lad forte a couple of times. Smalling again looked cool though and nice to see rio do a full game including a nice drop on his arse from a great height. When he whinced I thought oh no here we go again. I'd even like to say despite the opposition Bebe looks quick and great control of the ball at his feet.

Did you see the post match interview? Kusczak looked like he was expecting to get bollocked next time he saw Ferguson, and there they were presenting him with the MOTM award. Yes, he made a lot of saves, but like you said, he punched a lot, parried a lot, and his kicking - shit!
As for Bebe - christ he's a big strong fucker isn't he! Will be interesting to see how he develops, if he can maintain his pace and size and put in some decent crosses he's going to give a lot of fullbacks nightmares for years to come. Just wish he'd had a bit more pitch time though, but he didn't look as out of place as the Daily Mail would like us to believe!
My mate went to the reserves game he played in last week and said he was proberbly the best player on the pitch for united.
but this was the daily mail report
