Right, I don't know if this has been attempted before on other forums or not, or even if it will actually work, so bear with me!
Basically the theory is a long distance back2back DJ session.
I have uploaded the begining of a mix, with only two tunes. The idea is someone downloads it, and then mixes it with two tunes of there choice, then uploads it again for the next DJ to download and do the same.
Not sure if re-encoding to MP3 is going to fuck this up quality wise, but lets see what happens. I've left my bit at 320 so hopefully it won't fuck up.
Against my own personal preferences I have chosen two tunes that should be a good base for people to start and not the usual hardcore breaks stuff I mix ;-) 120bpm
DJ OD
1) M/A/R/R/S - Pump Up The Volume
2) Adamski feat' Seal - Killer
If peeps could add to the tracklist as well so we know what's what.
U using something on your computer to mix the tunes?
I could probably have a search around for something to put at the end of the last mix only id have to use my cdj's to do it.
Think ive only got electro thats slow enough.
Highly recomend Virtual DJ for simplicity, and you could either use it with mp3's or with your Cdj's.
Available in all the usual places.
Also, its best if you try and keep the file as 320 bitrate to keep the quality up as OD said.
