havnet played my 360 for around a year but saw F1 2011 and thought i'll have me some of that.

so, gets the backup, puts it in and it no worky, then read about a dashboard update, so updated via usb, now it wont play any game, not too bothered but would have prefered not to knacker my machine

it hasn't knackered it mate it's just reflashed your dvd drive to a new type of firmware

simply rad the firmware and reflash it with latest lt for your drive

been reading about flashing and its over my head tbh, i may sent it to someone to flash for my at a later date
