Default How to upload a movie for a relative.

I'm after a way of uploading a large movie (DVD size) to my missus when she visits her dad later this week. My lad's in a school production which she'll be missing as her dad's been diagnosed with cancer and things are looking a bit bleak. Thought it would be a good idea to film it and stick it somewhere on the web for them to grab and watch. Any suggestions? I've got a rapidshare account. Could I give them my details to grab the files with or is there an easier method?

Wouldn't it be easier to stick it on a DVD for them? I can't think of anywhere you'd be able to upload a dvd size movie in DVD quality tbh.

If you have a rapidshare account you can upload the file and save it as trafficshare, so when she downloads it it will come out of your download allowance and she will have no waiting, full speeds etc.

You can use dropbox, so it will automatically sync on her computer, however you only get 2gb free, depending on how long the production is it may go over the 2gb limit.

failing them options let me know, i'll set you up an ftp account on my server, put it on there, and she can download it from there.

Hope some of the suggestions are useful

Could you set up Fillazilla FTP server on one of your pc's - set up Filezilla client at her end and only open the FTP server when you know she's ready to download it and close it as soon as she downloaded it?

The trafficshare sounds like a winner. I'll look into that and many thanks for the kind offer of the FTP option.
