    Default Server email problem

Not sure if this is the right place to post this...

I had a new domain set up on my server and created an email address for it, I can send emails from the address but I cannot send email to the address.

When I send an email to the address I get a message failure message in outlook:

    (Ip_here)_does_not_like_recipient./Remote_host_said:_550_<email@addresshere.co.uk>:_invalid_address/Giving_up_on_ip here/

does anyone know what error 550 invalid address means, looked on google but wasn't much help.

The address is definately valid as it can send emails.

The server emails work fine as I can send and recieve from various other domains on the server and as far as I can see all the settings are the same

    Thanks for any advice

I take it that you have updated the domain's MX records to point at your server?

Have you set a default catch all mail recipient, the 550 error can mean that there is nothing of that address at the recipient end..!

But if there is nothing of that address why does it let me send email from it?

Tried it now but still didnt make a difference.
