Halo Reach - Freezing problems......

It is being reported all over the Bungie forums that Halo Reach is crashing its tits off. My boys in the USA are also having the same issue - on burns and originals

There is also dozens of other sites reporting the issue

Anyone else have the same issues ?

I played the leaked version on a jtag off an external HD, in co-op to about 80% complete I think, all in one session too - didn't lock up once here.

I'm a fair few hours in and not froze once.

My mate has clocked it on Legendary campaign with no probs from backup copy. Funny how this is just being reported now as it's been out a good while now.

I've had it freeze for a couple of times for say 5-10 seconds then carry on, i figured it was just having trouble loading. Not had it freeze totally as yet and I'm on the 2nd playthrough.

+1 - seems a little glitchey when I get off'd sometimes, some video is buggy but nothing that bums the system out completely.

finished campaign, and played online good few hours - not one freeze. lucky i guess. will report back if it happens

Up to mission 7 on Legendary and a few games online and it hasn't crashed yet. (installed on HDD).

One odd thing though - it didn't award me a completion badge after one of the campaigns. I had to play it again from scratch to get it.

Both my son and myself have completed the game with no issues, this was running from hard drive.

I have never had it freeze on me.
Completed the campaign and played a load of firefight and some multiplayer.

I did install it to the hard drive though.

Maybe there is a dodgy proper "pressed" version that has been copied since it's official release date, so has filtered down through the usual places since the early leak?

I cant even get to play the bloddy game, as it says it cant write the game save to my hard drive... Well the opening credits look nice

badly laid out disk. showing up consoles with slightly dodgy lasers .

Finished it with no problems on the hardest level in co-op for 9 hours with my m8ts
