Default Renault Master Van - where's the terminals?

I need to jump start my volvo and I only have the company Master to do it from. I am a complete noddy when it comes to cars and stuff. Under the bonnet of the van it says " to start another car use the engine compartment terminals" but I have no idea where they are. If any one can give me a clue I'd be most grateful.

I've always just stuck them straight onto the batteries when it's accessible. Don't touch them both at once or blow yourself up though.

A trickle charger is better for a flat battery if it's not an emergency. Jump starting means you need to run the engine for ages to charge it up.

Look near the top right hand corner you'll see a red plastic bit lift open the lid of it and it will expose a large piece of copper plate

This is the positive terminal for
The negative just clamp onto the engine somewhere

    " I am a complete noddy"
Surge Protectors are now used when jump starting.
Be very careful as moden cars/vans have lots of ECU's that can be damaged when jump starting.
