I think Rooney has been dropped, same way he was a few weeks ago with his mysterious stomach bug.
Fergie must think Man U fans are stupid.

Proberbly a bit of both mate.
Im quite happy about it though as owen looked very bright against bolton.

what ever is happening, Rooney needs to get his act together and get on form ffs.
they get paid millions and a bit of publicity is effecting him??? he should take advice from Beckham
we need him onform this season

Whatever the situation Ferguson and Rooney know the truth. I find the situation interesting, parts of me thinks you should bench an underperforming player, the other says with a player like Rooney the spark into form could happen at any stage, so leave him on. Only they really know what is or isn't bothering him, so I guess let them get on with it.
It will be 4-5-1 tomorrow, Berba on his own, I have no doubts about it at all.
You're right BBK it's a tough one . Do you keep playing an underperforming player hoping he will spark into life.
This is the conondrum.
He's been dropped, useless fat scouse cunt. He's looking more and more like the caravan Rooney from the Nike World Cup advert. Drop Evans and O'Shea too while you're at it.

Rooneys injured for sure he came off against bolton and had to put ice straight on teh ankle. Personally and ive said it before I wouldnt have played the prat for a month, his head is in the wrong place at teh moment but instead just as in the world cup people think he HAS to be played as he's that good. It just puts more pressure on the lad he needs to just sit out and get away from all the attention for a few weeks, thing is by continuing to keep him in the team its just made it harder for the whole media scandle to die down as they just pick up on him underperforming now. He should just go away for a bit and sort his head out, im 99.9% sure thats his performance issues are mentally related as we all know what a capable player he is.
they were saying on Sunday Rio was being rested for Valencia. Lets bloody hope so, because we desperately need him back, for whatever reason Evans just isn't looking right, but then neither are Evra and O'Shea. I'd like to see Raphael or Brown in at right back, Brown was immense in winning the CL in 2008 from right back, he can do a good job there.
I would say a bit of both to be honest as well. It stated in the last game he went over on his ankle?
yeah makes sense to give him a reswt obviously fergie is not gonna say he is sorting his personal life outt, but the odds are he wont be doing full first team training until this is sorted and then give it a few weeks and i am sure he will be recalled and firing, but at the moment let owen bag a couple of goals.
and an update, out for 3 weeks for club and country, that should sort him out me thinks

injuries are used for PR for lack of form. Keeps price up. a mental injury is worse in many ways than a Physical one .
ALL Bollocks!! and Utd use them well in PR. They are the best in the business at hiding them
"Your proposition may be good. But let's have one thing understood
Whatever it is, I'm against it! And even when you've changed it Or condensed it
I'm against it!"
A top man
Rooney's the most overrated player in the country, and that's coming from a lifelong united fan.
He played shit for England and now he's playing shit for us, drop him for a month or until he gets his act together.
Most overrated? Seriously? After his performances last season? He got injured and hasn't regained his form since, not even in the slightest, which is clearly concerning, but to suggest he is the most overrated player in the country is madness.
Thats a mental statement to make, so what if he has started the season badly, as stated in the last post since the ankle injury he hasnt captured his top form but its only a matter of time before he gets back to doing what he does best, then peoples tunes about him will change, and as i remember in the last england game he played in didnt he set up defoe for 2 goals and was actually having a decent game. People just expect him to perform in every game and that just will not happen.
Everyone's entitled to an opinion guys, just because mine happens to differ from yours doesn't mean i'm wrong.
Of course you're right BBK he's not been the same since his injury, but i stand by my statement that he's overrated.
Lighty i just picked a month off the top of my head but what i was trying to get a across was, if he's playing shite week in week out and is still being picked, don't you think a spell on the bench would do him good?
