    Default Excel vlookup

    I have a box line 92 column q on a page and i need the result to display on different page line 3 column f i just cant think straight help please i know im gonna kick myself when i see it thanks

    in the cell where you want the result to show, type '"=" then go to the page with the cell you want to report on, highlight it, and press return... so, if cell q92 is on Sheet2, the formula in f3 will be =Sheet2!q92

    That isn't a vlookup - thats purely referencing another cell.

    Use the Insert Function button and find vlookup - it's a bit like a little wizard to help you select the lookup criteria cell, the lookup range/values and define if it has to be an exact match.



    If you do just want to display the contents of another static cell though, pmg is spot on.
