Where to advertise a website for sale

Hi guys,

A friend of mine is looking to sell his website (its a football forum for championship manager 01/02) and has had some initial offers from members of the forum which are below what he was expecting, hes wondering where's the best place to advertise something such as this?

i know the site pulls in some money for the upkeep (similar to the VIP members here with their yearly fee) and some donations from members too so it has some ability to generate some money

anyone got any advice for him?
