iPhone 4 bugs!!

I am getting fed up with the iPhone 4 now, I am on my third one, all directly supplied by Apple and each one was brand new and sealed. First one would reboot randomly as and when it felt like it, even when in use, second one did the same. My third one just received a text message, lit up and started the tone, then the screen went black, when I pressed the home button it lit up again but the tone came out all garbled and messed up. Also there are occasional freezes, one froze the camera before the shutter (on the screen) opened and took a few minutes to continue operation.

This has happened on iOS4, 4.0.1, 4.0.2, 4.1. Not upgraded to 4.2 yet as waiting for jailbreak. Restoring to a newly downloaded clean iOS does not remedy.

I had a slight issue occasionally with emails on my 16GB ... but this not happened since the install of iOS 4.1.

Other than that, flawless. A chap on my Facebook has had three and his current one still has various issues though.

Had my iphone 4 32gb on o2 for two month's,all workin fine here with no prob's,latest firmware installed.

Are yours jailbroken with any 3rd party apps installed? If you havent already I would try using it with a fresh setup with minimal or stock apps for a few days and see if you encounter any problems that way. Issues I have had or do still have are signal issues, which have improved since putting a cover on, but still not 100%. I hope this improves on the 4.1 + f/w which I will update to once shatter gets released. Other problems I've had were apps related especially the ones from Cydia which I have since removed.

Definitely set up as a new phone rather than restoring from a backup.

Only problem I've ever seen is a weird wifi issue with logging into certain paid networks. Couldn't be happier otherwise

It has been restored from a backup to keep my appointments on the calendar, contacts, messages etc. all in tact as well as all my app data as I use it to create and store my invoices. I use the phone as my work diary and sync it to iTunes so I have a backup just in case.

Appointments can sync with iCal or whatever PC users use. Contacts with windows contacts or google sync or whatever (or contacts on mac)

You should have no problem restoring any calendar appointments but admittedly you will lose app data and messaging ? Is there no backup system for your invoices ?

I don't think there is a free method, I am using invoice2go on the iphone which I was more than happy paying £5.99 for, but the PC software (which allows iPhone syncing) costs £50-70 per year and the only feature I would use is the syncing to backup my data as all invoices are created and sent directly from my iPhone.

I am dowloading a free trial now to see if that can sync and export the PDFs

no probs here with mine had since just after launch, I have heard of lots of problems when restoring from a backup however.

I have some pixel issues with mine and am going to get Apple to replace it but not until Shatter has been released
This is my 2nd one though as first one kept crashing. Have also had my 3GS replaced 3 times as well and am on my 2nd iPad LOL.
