    A-ha call it a day

    Sun Oct 3 2010 10:15:10

Pop group A-ha have decided to part ways after 25 years in the business.

The Norwegian band, who had huge hits in the 80s with Take On Me and Cry Wolf, said they wanted to end things on a high.

Keyboardist Magne Furuholmen said: "We feel like we've achieved a lot together. It feels good to be able to embrace it and disband in an amicable way".

The group have released one final single, Butterfly Butterfly, which is out now.

A sad day for the music industry.

These guys revolutionised the music videos.

Butterfly Butterfly sounds very much like there sound of the late 80's. I suppose it's leaving on a high!

I very much like some of their recent tracks, the more upbeat ones....Foot of the Mountain was a very good track, its on their final compilation album "25", which is available in all the usual places.
