lmao New AVR Device Released - With a Interesting Twist

The Prankster AVR USB. However, this isn’t being marketed like your typical AVR device. It is being marketed as a pranking device. The device is pre-flashed with code that turns on an off the capslock key every 5-20minutes, thus pranking whoever the device is used on. However, anyone that buys this device can easily erase the Prankster AVR’s flash and flash it with what ever hex code they want. This is definitely one of the more unique and interesting marketing campaigns when it comes to the reprogrammable USB devices that have been coming out.

The creation of billions of galaxies each containing trillions of stars each with their own solar systems, some with planets that have evolved civilisations with billions of different life forms. OR The creation of just your imagination?

yeah they can if its able to be used to flash illegal sony source code on then they have every right to get a court order to stop it. The AVR devices that are out can be used to do many things but unless they are locked i.e. non flashable then they will be flagged.

Sony would get laughed out of the court. No chance of getting blank or prank dongles banned.

Do you know how many illegal things PCs can do? They can burn illegal software, flash illegal roms, share illegal files etc. It doesn't mean anyone has 'every right' to get a court order to stop it.

If they ban the dongles they may as well and go ahead and ban all programmable ICs.

AVR devices can be used for lots of things - just look at the projects on the teensy site. It's not like the R4 devices where the device has only one use. They tried to get around it with the R4 by not including the code but it doesn't matter as you buy an R4 for ONE THING and ONE THING only..

cant see them banning them because its actually got a purpose and wouldnt they have to prove that people are using it for Jail-Breaking, so providing they dont mention anything to do with PS3 or Jailbreaks they might just get away with it
You know he grew up as a little shitspark from the old shitflint and then he turned into a shitbonfire and driven by the winds of his monumental ignorance he turned into a raging shitfirestorm. If I get to be married to Barb I'll have total control of Sunnyvale and then I can unleash the shitnami tidal wave that will engulf Ricky and extinguish his shitflames forever. And with any luck he'll drown in the undershit of that wave. Shitwaves.

RIP Re: New AVR Device Released - With a Interesting Twist

Sony can have all the money in the world but that dont mean shit, AVR development boards will never be or get band, more good then bad has being done with AVRs still being used in all collages to this present day, Embedded Systems/Atmel AVR they can be a powerful tool in the right and wrong hands but so is alot of other things with the right ingredients Sony will soon learn that pumping fucking millions to courts chasing ghost is the same as pissing against the wind.
The only thing they can do now is take a ticket and get the fuck in line along with all the other Console manufacturers trying to slow it down not stop it cause that will never happen and control it a bit
