    Miles better than mine.

You seen the results yet? The 2nd one on Sunday was good, shame the missfire on the first one.

I took the camera and planned to use the gorrila pod didn't want to look a tit with the tripod in there but there were so many inconsiderate people camping with their chairs all along the fence you couldn't get near and when you tried they had a go at you. So all mine were handheld.

never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups!

    the winners were Pyrotex Fireworx
on saturday i stood along the fence facing the display unless you've got a fisheye lens your too close so sunday i stood on the Millenium Bridge a much better vantage point for photo's
the only gripe is your not in front of the display but it's not that important

i wouldn't worry too much about looking a tit with a tripod there were plenty of people using em after all if you want photo's of fireworks you need one
    i don't give a damn what people think i took 2 ( one for video )

    cheers for the replies

Liking the last 2 best, it turned into a good night should have gone back, i stand at the bridge aswell at the end on the right hand side, there is a concrete plynth for your kit and you only need your tripod 2 foot high, gonna try matalan carpark next time for the finale sky fillers unless i get a wider lens by then.
