Captcha's can you read them?

I am trying to download a map, it is in 15 parts and even with jdownloader it asks each time for a captcha (think that's how its spelled) which I have trouble reading.
Am I the only one old and stupid enough to have trouble with this? and how are the f***ing words dreamed up? the last one was "595 pissted" is there some prat sitting making these up?

Totally agree pal, i feel like sticking my fist thorugh the screen whenever i come across captcha's.

I have a nice simple one on my site to stop spam. (4x numbers)
But i have seen some shit ones which are completely unreadable, and even when you click the read aloud button it's fecking unrecognisable.

You could just click the button next to it that changes it to a different one? For the most part I can just about read them.

Captcha's have to be the worst thing created to fool bots. Why the hell cant they make them at least readible.

Perhaps a thread showing the worst places for guessing Captcha's and getting screen grabs of the offenders!!
