Help fixing rrod

Just took my 360 to pieces to see that i had orderd the wrong arctic silver and i got some glue or summat lol

So i tried the trick with letting it overheat and turning it back on.

That seemed to work fine.

How long you reckon it will last? Is arctic silver 5 any use now or is it the soldering thats fooked.

wont last long if it fucks up do this. change the thermal paste, put it back together screw the cage its vital you do that so the board stays flat. Remove cd drive and cables for it and remove plastic ducing for air. Unplug fan. Plug power and video lead in. Hit it with air gun on both heatsinks while its on. As soon as you see 2 flashing lights to indicate overheating unplug the power heat for further 15seconds and stop let it cool retry.
