Default i nearly set the neighbours house on fire last night

got one of those chinese lanterns in a fireworks package i bought and decided to let it off last night so my son could see how far they go, i must admit i think they are good but i nearly set the neighbours house on fire. the thing headed straight for the next doors window which was open and all i could think was that it would set the curtains on fire. so im scrambling over the fucking fence nearly breaking my back and luckily it lifted up over the house after hitting a wind stream. but this thing then went for miles.

we watched it out of the front window and went over castleford way heading to the leeds area. so if anyone saw something strange last night it was a massive 3 foot chinese lantern lol.

i wonder if the hamster would appreciate a free ride

Send a hamster. It may land in a far off place where there are no others though so may be worth buying it a partner first.

lol, hamsters, whenever that's mentioned all I can think of is the radio station show about "Armagedon".

I've seen loads of these things recently and often wonder, just how far they actually go.

I was leaving the pub in Ramsey last night, I swear I saw it...... had to do a double take as I thought it was old Ho Chi Min from the Chinky on his way on holiday....

Coincidently mate we did exactly the same the night before, wind changed and blew it back towards the house.

Just cleared the roof but spent the next 5 minutes burning merrily away in a tree in the back garden.

~What you should do with these is rig ten together in a circle with spring steel wire then light them and let them go with some cheapo flashing led's salvaged from cell phone charms, ideally near a field of astronomers.....
But that would be childish and immature...not funny at all...
