Cracking deal, wish I had £959 spare.
That's an awesome deal !
Im in the process of chooosing a new 3DTV the more i look the more confused i get love the samsung led models but the crosstalk ghosting really annoys me.
Its come down to the Panasonic vs Samsung 3D plasma but i cant get any shop to demo me the sammy set which is over £800 cheaper then the panasonic.

There is a thread just started about this set on AV Forums here :

If I had a spare bag of sand and the missus wouldn't do her fruit, I would get one!
-=AD=-
if i was going to make the switch I would rather get a proper LED one, reading up on AVforums this seems like a last-gen plasma with 3d bodged in
Well i went to the new currys or is it comet pc world superstore and the lad in there was cracking, checked out the samsung in this deal which i thought was extremely ordinary (but still a good deal) and great entry into 3d for most.
Without being boastful im quiet an expert in 3D as i already have a 720p 3D Projector and a 1080p 3D monitor so i can objectively look at a 3D screen without getting hyped by the new tek.I was looking for more brightness colour and pop.
Top of my list of the one i was going to buy was the Panasonic VT20 after demoing it again it just didnt blow me away especially with its premium price tag about £2300 they were asking although available for £1800 online for the 50" model the whole image retention thing on plasma puts me off as well and in my opinion plasmas just too dark for 3D. I checked out the LG led which nice but not great again. And the sony which ill be buggered after costing £2000 plus i would then have to stump up for transmitter and glasses. The telly that did it for me was the Samsung led ue8000 model ill deffo be getting this once i find the best price.
Bitches aint shit!!
The one im trying to get is the SAMSUNG UE46C8000 hopefully.
Bitches aint shit!!
It looks stunning! http://www.samsung.com/uk/consumer/t...ype=prd_detail
