date a file was created

Hi guys been a sent a pdf today, downloaded it and was just wondering if there was any way to find the date of creation on it.

Pretty sure you can only find out the date it was created on your computer.

Sorry forgot to add if you go into the document property's in acrobat it gives you all the information that has been made available for that document.
