just been sat here repairing a ps3 for someone and i heard a noise outside, some thieving gypsy twats have only just walked down the side of our house and started to carry my ally wheels to their van. if i had not heard them they would have been off with em.

im getting pissed off with them now because they are round here 3 times a day now.

its not just Gypsies, its also scrap men prices for recyclable metals have gone through the roof in the last year. When we work in a house doing something like a bathroom refit we usually get doorstepped at least 3 times a day by gypsies and scrapmen asking for "any old iron" - copper is weighing in at over £4000 a tonne at the moment and u can carry a tonne of it in a transit van easy - and other metals arent too far behind so not a bad weeks work just going round nicking pipes and hot water cylinders etc off empty houses etc.. plus the scrap dealers dont ask any questions where the stuff comes from and its all cash in hand.
