I work in a University and we've just bought 10 of these new mac minis for development work for Iphone games etc.
They come supplied with a HDMI to DVI adapter similar to this (I know that the pic is Mini DVI to DVI but I can't find a pic of the actual cable):
But we need to go out to VGA KVM's so we have loads of these little DVI to VGA adapters lying around:
However they won't plug together because there are 2 pins above and 2 below the blade in the DVI female adapter but there are no holes for them as in the first pic.
I rang Apple and they said I gotta buy a different adapter at £20 each!!
Add to that the fact that they have removed the hole for attaching a security cable, so now we have to spend £600 on 10 housings that we have to fix to the desks!!
So, we've spent £8000 on Mac minis, but need to spend another £800 before we can put them in the class.
