Absolutely staged. The van was only travelling at walking pace. If he hadn't seen that he doesn't need a crash-proof bike, but a white stick might come in handy.

If you look you can also see smoke coming from the tyres. Also the biker doesn't turn his head right.

it looked like the motorcyclist was either rather fat, or had a lot of padding in his clothes, still the impact didnt look too much fun even at the relativity slow speed.
