New graphics card (s) for £100 max

Guys,

Looking to upgrade my PC graphics card (which is 4 years old now!). Looking to support two 22 or 24inch monitors running at fairly high resolution (1920x1080) and spend about £100 max if possible. I don't game at all and don't intend to.

I'm setting up my PC to be able to work from home for a couple of hours in the evening so I can get home a bit earlier.

My PC is a dual core E6700 with an abit AB9 Pro motherboard running 2GB ram on windows 7 64bit (rig is 3 years old).

I've got a BFG GeForce 7800 GTX at the moment - so anything I put in will be an upgrade!

What would people's suggestions be? I think I can only run one PCI express card. Also - the obvious question - nvidia or ATI?

Any help much appreciated.

Thanks guys - both nvidia products - do I sense they're infront at the moment?

W.O.B. - am I going to see any real increase in performance spending the extra £50, given I'm not gaming? Would it be better spent on an extra 2gb of RAM?

if you dont game then yes go with the 450 & extra ram mate...

If you're not planning on playing any games the Nvidia 450 gtx is still an overkill. The Nvidia 240/220 range or low end ATI card (i.e., from 4350 up...£40 mark) would be a better choice re power requirements & noise:

Thanks mate - just looked up what i've got - its actually a BFG 6800 GT - original post was a typo! 3 monitors would be a good option - will look at that.
