Good price - I noticed pixmania were selling it slightly cheaper (Pixmania for £ 353.90 Inc. VAT Delivered at Pixmania using code for £5.00 PIXSEPTUK5 +6% Quidco (taken from hot uk deals))but I have had poor service from them (sent me a european router instead of uk) and had lots of hassle trying to sort it out.
Just to further enhance the price on this you may want to consider using quidco as you will get an additional 3% back on this price roughly £10.47 off of the asking price potentially.
I am not sure on that discount price as I think they calculate the price of discount pre vat but maybe some of the more knowledgeable folk can clear that up.
I am not in the market for TV but at that kind of price for a panny that has to be a good deal.
Truly amazing price.
ok price but not full hd .. useless
to be honest most of the shit you will watch will be in 720
i have a 1080 panny and its the only brand i would trust
349 is a cracking price
Is that your 42PX60?
I sold mine about 18 months ago for £350 before it became worthless. Got a Samsung 37B550 to replace it. Am looking on and off for a 50" or so, no rush. I almost went for greens LED one in the bst but every review I've seen says about terrible light bleeding, misting, jerkiness/dropped frames, massive lag when playing games and sound delay/lips sync issues when connected to an amp. Panny screens are the best imo but my Samsung has been faultless and I wouldn't hesitate to buy another.....just not one of their LED screens!

Sheeseh your getting it for this lol.
720p will prob give you the best results unless you have a Full 1080p capable Bluray player (25fps etc..)
If you do then you prob already have a Full HD TV
Bargain for those who are watching Freeview as these TV's upscale really well.
Panasonic & Pioneer = Top of the range that cant be beaten by your Sammy's etc..
We all make mistakes sometimes
I STINK GET OVER IT !
+ Quidco (£329.30) Delivered
If we're talking how much,I paid £3639 for my first Panny 42in 'monitor',that's right, monitor,I had to but the tuner (and speakers) seperately.
Just use enough water to cover your vegetables, the same goes for when you're having a bath....
my inlaws have the 37" version of this and the standard SD picture is fantastic compared with any LCD I have seen at a similar price
i paid £2799 for my 42 inch panasonic plas and it's only got 1 hdmi port!
I'm sure a lot depends on the quality of the video source and lots of physics I know nowt about - BUT I can say YES - I can see the difference between 720p and 1080p on my Panny 50" Viera - I tried it with the best quality rips I could get in each flavour of Avatar and while 95% of the time it was almost identical - some of the scenes - such as where the flying dragons (or whatever they are - can't spell terradactyl) are fighting it's pretty noticable - very slightly blocky resolution but still noticable
I agree most people would see the difference on a 50", I'm considering a 63" Samsung 3D tv or maybe the 50", depends if I can get a deal on the 63". I read a few days ago somewhere that unless a screen is over 46" nobody would be able to see the difference between 720p and 1080p. I can't tell the difference on my current 37" LCD.
