iPhone 3GS Unlock From Network

Hi Guys,

Wondering if someone can give me some advice? I won an iPhone 3GS in a Kiss FM competition and it was an O2 branded one locked to O2 with a PAYG Sim also. Where do I stand with regards to getting them to unlock it for me?

Give O2 a call and tell them the story see what they say and ask them for the code worst they can do is say piss off

However what software is on the handset as you might just need a jailbreak and unlock.

Thanks for the reply Jaygo. Its on 4.1 I did jailbreak etc tried Ultrasn0w too. I will give em a call I really wanna use my T-mobile sim in it.

Thank you n00bz0rd2 I did as you said topped up £15 quid and now have an unlocked phone
