    Get fu(ked

You obviously didn't see the game if you thought they were thumped (Beaten by 3 clear goals, yes, but never out of the game until the 4th went in)

They were sucked into some nasty challenges by a far more euro-experience and typically cynical Italian side, but to say they were dirty would be a bit harsh.

I still maintain the ref was regularly conned by cynical Italians, yes we were sucked into it a few times Shearer's elbow, Griffin's take-down near the end.

I don't dispute we deserved nowt - but thumped, no.

I can take defeat like a man, I just can't stand pond life coming on the boards and gloating about it.

It's not as if Sanjuro is Italian (I apologise if He is), more likely a Man U supporter from Essex.

shearer did what seemed the only method of removing a cheating shirt puller, the ref didnt see the belamy incident, yes hes a stupid twat for retaliating but a proper ref would have calmed it down and left it at that or sent them both off, it was 6 of one and half a dosen of the other, i dont know the final stats but from what i saw we had greater posession, certainly more corners and free kicks, mind they are a typical bunch of cheating italians.

certainly not outclassed or out played, just with one man upfront its tricky, oh and having hughes in defence doesnt help, hes total shit, nikos is the best defender weve got and thats a very sad thing to say

    totaly gutted

(mind we did loose the first three in the opening stages)

This is where I agree with pizza-man.
Shearer was lucky to stay on the pitch for that, and he's experienced enough to know that, after Bellamy's dismissal, the ref may well have sent him off too.

    1) i think you'll find that sanjuro is a leeds supporter
    2) shearer should have been sent off (probably more than bellamy)
    3) in it? the only thing you were in was shit

at least when you got beaten by scum you provided an entrtaining game, tonights was just an embarresment, hell sunderland couldnt of played worse under peter reid.

The quality of the football produced by newcastle is just too erratic sometimes you shine and its wonderful to watch, other times you play like tonight.

dont matter if you lost the first game, get off your backsides and play football in the next game - thats what counts unfortunately without one of your most talented players .. is violent conduct only a 1 match ban in eufa or 3 ????

all i can say if thanks christ for cygan & henry for us tonight. roma look a very dangerous team.

i cant see how newcastle could ever be called dirty by a leeds supporter

Shearer has always been somewhat dirty imo but in a totally professional way, but he should have gone last nite for a very unprofessional backhander

bellamy is just another imature footballer see beckham about 4 years ago so he cant get totallly flamed its quite a natural part of the learning process

this sort of experience makes good players into great players

Newcastle are going to have to do it without shearer and bellamy, bellamy got a three match ban for something the ref missed in the first stage. uefa look at video evidence so he will get at least 1 game

    Default ...................

Belamy should never have been sent off, mary poppins on the other hand should have walked but yet again he got away with it. I'm afraid there is no point bleating about cheating that sort of crap is to be expected with some teams at this level..................

Why someone would gloat at an english team getting beat in europe is beyond me.

Shearer has always been a dirty c*nt who usually get's away with it. I hope Uefa throw the book at him. You were outplayed by a class act. Still you have another 5 games to learn from it and turn it around.
