Nope, the SUV was a real police car on the way to a suspect package job. Didn't know the roads had been closed off for filming and just went through, the police that had closed the roads used a different radio channel to the normal police so they couldn't contact him either.

Dunno ya know... I would imagine at the end of the day no matter what the reason for closing a road off, the police will probably still have legal right of way. it's a public highway, not private land and if the police was attending an emergency then why should he use a different highway? That, I expect is the angle they would go down if there was a lawsuit

It is in one respect negligence on the police's behalf as they should have ensure ALL officers were aware but they'll work their way out of it.
