How to remove Jtag ?

I have a jtag-ed console its started freezing up, may well be the pre cursor to rrod.

What I wanted to check was if I want to revert it back to stock,

1. reflash the nand orginal file

2. remove all the wiring.

3. then just update it with the latest update ?

Is that it ?

yeah that should do it

just out of interest when does it usually freeze and do you get any checkboard pattern on the screen

also what motherboard revision is it?

Its my bro's console

He said he had it balck screening when bootin up and when in games he had it freezing up...
Its a jasper I think.

sounds more like a dodgy freeboot image / nand flash rather that rrod

Just checked it now, getting an e79 error so defo seems to be a prob with the jtag too.

ok pull an image of the nand using xellous and run it through the latest version of bestpig toolbox (2.4 rev3)

then run the xellous dump through flash 360 tool to check for bad blocks, if it does remap them with xnand healer on the image that bestpig toolbox made

then reflash the new image using xellous and usb stick, that should sort any problems

the orginal dump had a bad block @ 0x222
block found at 0x3ff

looks like you don't have it connected to the network, this should get a dhcp address from your router

no its conntacted to network but thats what it does ...

I can boot up with free60 cd and get an ip address..
not sure whats going on...

actually that looks like xell and not xellous

the banner at the top should say 'xellous v1 by redline'

if not you will need to fix via lpt/nand x

It had developed a bad block at block 0 , so just resotred back to original firmware and left it now.
At least it works now
