I think they are chopping fable 2 into sections, the first part is free, they'll start charging to get the rest..... hopefully one of you can verify this once you download it.

It's been available like this for a while, at least 10months or so, if it was a glitch they would have caught on by now.

I think it'll work like an arcade trial, you'll reach a point and it'll ask you to unlock.

Hopefully i'm wrong and it is the full version.

now I haven't been on xbox live for a while but when I try and add it online for some reason all I get is

Maybe your card details are messed up? I got a suspension for that before. Pain in the arse to fix too, needed a 48 hour code to access live to change my subscription. Sure you can do it on some MS site now.

The fable 2 free download was originally the full game split into 3 parts, part one was free then you paid something like 2000 pts for the next bit and same for the final one. 7gb is the overall game size, the segments originally available were almost exactly that when split in 3.

Maybe Lionhead are just being kind to boost popularity for number 3 coming soon?

Downloaded and updated here too. There is no indication that it is any kind of trial or demo. It also shows the Achievements list in my games library as a number 0/1350. All of my other demos/trial games do not show a figure. Incidentally in the library the game it is listed under full games and not Demos/trials. I guess I should try and earn some achievements and see if it gives me them.
