Info Easy way to make a list of contents of any folder!

I just wanted to share this with you all, many people dont realise how easy it is to make a list of contents of a folder. Such as a games (legal) collection list and you might have a couple of hundred old roms and you cannot be arsed to type them all out by hand?.

the easy way is to download this file attached to this post, unzip it and then copy it to whatever directory you want to make a list out of and double click it. It will then make a text file listing ALL that folders content in seconds. No more typing out or messing about.

Its a simple batch file and is perfectly safe to use.

it saves a text file named filelist.txt in the same folder once finished - this is your new completed list.

    det

    try it

So in a nutshell, it's a text file with "dir > filelist.txt" in it saved as file.bat?
