The only club that has a chance of signing rooney is madrid.

If he goes madrid i am sure benzema plus cash will be coming this way.

I think fergie is right about this though. why should wayne get a 150k a week contract when he is playing like a 10k a week player.

I was hoping he would run his contract down and come back to everton on a free lol. I think madrid is looking more likely. Either way i hope he goes for 80m as we get ten percent of any profits and we really need it as we aint got no money for players.

something isn't quite right with him, whether it's an injury he's carrying, lack of overall fitness or the pr0stitute scandal, he's definitely not the same player. Rooney used to run around like a man possessed, his drive, determination and energy levels were second to none e.g whenever he lost possession in the opponents half, he would chase the ball as though his life depended on it and would almost always win it back - if watch him now, he simply flaps his arms in the air, starts moaning and walks off!

Reckon Fergie is losing the plot myself. Within two years you have lost Ronaldo Tevez and now Rooney arguably your best three players and now falling behind City in the league. Seriously you could be heading the same way as us, difference being we can probably buy our way out of trouble

Gotta agree with Thalamus, We can't keep competing at the top if all our best players are allowed to leave, and we buy 2nd rate replacements.

I'd sell Rooney in an instant, my worry is though, that like the money from the sale of Ronaldo it'll not be made available to buy any quality players.

I don't think Fergie is losing the plot but there could be some truth in what Thalamus says it's like us being stealthily stripped of top players and having them replaced by inferior players in their positions.
Top teams can't afford to lose their better players the way we have over the last few years because they are the difference in finishing high up the league and languishing at or near the bottom.

The Rooney stuff though is no doubt bollocks...how many times has SAF dropped someone for the papers to then start with the "he wants out" stories.
