Looking to get this image put onto canvas but the only decent sizes both have watermarks on them. Could anyone be a star and remove the watermark from these 2 images as I do not have photoshop installed. Cheers
Here are the two images

Bump
I've had a go at this with Photoshop CS5's Content Aware Fill feature, and while i think it's probably possible to do, it could take a long time to get it right.
What size canvas? I do not think they are bigger enough to blow up. Have you tried other places?
That picture is up on the wall at my local Chicago Rock Cafe!

EDIT
hmm. as ilscuro says.. could possibly be done but would take an age to get perfect..
there may be a way of using this software to do it if applying little by little..and a lot of patience..
Inpaint reconstructs the selected image area from the pixel near the area boundary. Inpaint may be used to remove dust and
scratches from a scanned photo, or to remove undesirable objects from still images.
Delete any unwanted object from your photo, such as extra power-line, people, text... The program will automatically inpaint
the selected area to erase it. If some unexpected object spoils an otherwise good photograph, Inpaint may be used to remove it.
Simply select the object. No need for fiddly messing about with the clone tool!
Top Reasons to use Inpaint
• Repair old photos
• Remove watermarks
• Remove unwanted objects
• Digital Facial retouching
• Remove date stamps
• Easy to get started
(OS: Should work on all Windows systems - but only tested on XP-32bit)

Neither of those images are any good for print work with or without the mark. You'll need something at least 300ppi and much larger in size too.
What about these.
1
Slightly different.
The Watermark removed manually and the image enlarged and Posterized/Cut out to keep the lines defined.
2
Watermark removed and enlarged.
The canvas will be 30 inches by 20 so yes sadly you're right and I need to get a higher resolution image. Something I'm having a touch time finding!
I thought that would be the case. I have looked online for a higher res image but have had no luck. I've sent a few emails to websites selling the poster version to see if they can send me the image but I don't hold much hope.
The firs one is the original revamped, It should enlarge OK as it's also 300dpi 1920x1376.
But don't hold me to it.
On Canvas - would it show too much? Especially at that size?
this may also be worth a go if you play with the settings..I've had some good results using it.. pm me if interested..

If someone can post the original Hendrix photo this was ripped from - its not difficult to duplicate the effect in AI - obviously hi-res also.
CJ is spot on btw.
