Xbox360 Title updates for JTAG

I am trying to get hold of the title updates for a couple of recently released XBLA games. I used to have a link to a site that had them all up to date but it doesn't work anymore. Does anyone know where I can get the latest updates from (Specifically 3D Ultra mini golf 2) as Google is not being my friend

you will find that xbla title updates are harder to find because someone has to actually purchase the game to get the update (the trial versions do not check for updates)

OK I have read on Xboxscene that if I flash my JTAG with freeboot image 9199 then this will fix the problem with games needing Title Updates. Anyone know if this is true or not ?

if you are still on xbr3 you are seeing messages about a SYSTEM update, not game update as you are still on 8xxx dash

so in short yes get it updated to freeboot 9199 and no more messages

Is this easy to do and if so could you link me to a noobs guide please ? I didn't do my Jtag so don't really know what to do

do you have a backup of your original nand? if not you can still do it it just takes longer

I don't. The Guy that did it had a copy but he has left the scene now !

ok I will write up a full tut if needed but I will try an guide you through it below:

download flash360 from xbins and ftp it over
boot flash360 and take a full dump of the nand
ftp in and grab the nand.bin from the flash360 directory
download bestpig toolbox 2.4r3 from http://www.bestpig.fr/
create a freeboot image using the nand.bin from flash360
tick the filename 'updflash.bin' in the options
ftp the updflash.bin over to the flash360 directory
boot flash360 and choose the option for flash nand
reboot
done!

OK all sorted. The only thing you left out was how to get my CPU Key but a quick Google soon sorted that out. Now we just need an update for the new dash !

oh yeah! glad you got sorted m8. btw some promising posts on xbh at the moment so should be soon hopefully - jtag + kinect

Nice 1 ! When the update comes out will I just do exactly the same thing I've just done ? And will I be able to use the Nand dump I just took and just flash that ?

yes, only thing that a custom nand needs from your original is the config (smc) and the keyvault so an original nand dump should never be needed.

all i know is its being worked on, if i had to guess i would say within 2 weeks
