Well i think most places where only selling pre-order and had sold out ages back but i could be wrong.

Ive got one waiting to pick up from the metrocentre - I paid a deposit for it quite a while back so if theres a shortage of them Im gonna go pick it up and bang it on feebay - otherwise Im not to excited about it and might just go get my deposit back.

Pre-ordered it as part of the bundle with the 250GB last week from Game, might go pick it up later on if I can find time to, when it's home it's connected straight away and tested, then it's going away for Xmas for the boy,

i pre-ordered the 250gb S bundle which does not come with the seperate power supply to use on old 360s. So I am restricted to playing on the new slim 360 which as we all know does not have a hack that is public yet

grabbed mine today from Game on pre-order. (well missus did)
looking forward to giving it a bash....picked up both the sports games - kinect sports and sports motion as well as sonic riders and kinect adventures that u get with it

Got mine today from GAME too, just been playing kinect adventures. To be honest I wasn't expecting anything at all from it, but worked first time, the mini-games are surprisingly fun. Tried kinectimals, switched off after 2 mins, defo one for the kids only that. Dashboard integration is awful though, everything takes 10x longer than it does with a pad.

Have you tried the voice activation? I'm not picking mine up until tonight/tomorrow (whenever its delivered) but this was one of the bits I was most looking forward too

yeh voice on dashboard is not great, i thought i would be able to control items specificly on the dashboard but it makes you goto another page were you have a selected choice. When i got it i tried to tilt the thing to correct height DONT do this. Its got a motor to tilt it!

Do the voice commands work on black ops? "Don,t get shot!" and "Kill the other team!" would be handy

Just been playing Dance Central, pretty good, reasonably accurate and a great interface for navigating the menus as well.

Beginning to notice the shortcomings of the kinect though, it's just not accurate enough, especially annoying on some of the games where you need to jump/duck/bat a ball in time, the movement just isn't 1:1 so you have to compensate for it by jumping/ducking a second sooner/later. But gets annoying.
