Bath Screen hinge - HELP!

Hi All

i somehow managed to break the bottom hinge on my bath/shower screen hinge today, unfortunately i dont know the brand of the screen, which is making it hard to track down the correct replacement hinge

ive been to B&Q who told me they dont keep spares so would need to contact the manufacturer, so back to sqare one on that one... have been browsing around and have found one that looks identical to the one i have, but cant see what hinges it has.....the link to this is here

ive been in touch with the manufacturer of that one and they do have spare hinges for it, but they were able to give me the actual specs of the hinge other than it is 2.5cm wide i.e. no dimensions of the barrel/pivot that would slot into the bracket on the glass screen itself

i've attached some pics of the broken hinge in question and was hoping someone could assist me in either identifying or guiding me to a one stop bath screen hinge shop

can anyone help me please?

If the Manufacturer can't help you it's time for a new screen! Are you saying that they can't supply the hinge?

i dont know what make mine is, the link i provided is one i found on the web that looks identical to mine (but not 100% certain as i cant see the hinges in the pic close up) so the manufacturer of the one in the link can provide me with spare hinges for that one, but they cant provide me spcific dimensions of the hinges, so i cant be sure they will fit mine....hope that makes sense

i really dont want to have to fork out for a complete new screen simply because one hinge is broken, that would really ruin my Christmas

mate there is thousands of different shower screens best bet is to bin it and goto argos bnq or a bathroom showroom and ask for a budget shower screen!!

Mate that screen and hinge looks identical to one I bought from B&Q a while back, if it's the same just go there and look on the box for the manufacturer and contact them directly. Other than that I would definitely order a 'pair' from the place you found - I would get both top and bottom hinges though because the 'pegs' are different sizes.

goto B&Q open the box, borrow the hinge they dont mind.....

I know is an old thread but am in a similar position. Did you have any luck with your problem or did you have to replace the whole screen?
