That's a lot more like it, however if they hadn't of dicked around with washing out on the third balcony on the middle flat or seagull shite on that boat they could have done the interiors (maybe)?

The interior thing threw me too, I had an interior in my first car, then I bought a prelude and couldn't get the cockpit view at all

I only ever drive with the front of the bonnet view so couldn't give a shit about cockpit views tbh - just bashing through the licences at the moment - so far so good for me it's gran turismo for the ps3

In that review the guy says you can hammer it from the start, smash into everyone at the first corner and end up in a podium place from there... wtf happened to the realistic damage?

Back home playing it, loading times still driving me mad, takes so long to actually get into a race ffs.

I'm really torn by GT5, on one hand it's genius, once you're in the driving seat it's a really fantastic experience, lovely graphics, great handling, a proper driving sim. But so much is broken about the game that you have to jump through hoops to get into the driving seat. Online is horribly broken (literally hangs PS3) and it's sooo slow to get into a game that I couldn't possibly recommend this to anyone but hardened GT fans. I'd go as far as to say Forza3 was a better experience all-round.

The online thing is apparently because the online side doesn;t go live til tomorrow (weds)
Also, have you seen / tested the damage model?

Well it looks pretty in that video....not so sure about the rally stages where instead of sliding off the track and into a tree, a crappy little fence keeps the car firmly on the track, like an armco barrier.
