Missus wants GHD's what do I buy ?

The missus has asked for some GHD straighteners, I've had a quick google and turned up a few different ones. There's the mini, wide plates and the plain mark 4. I don't really know which to get.

Am I safe in buying this ?

My misses wanted these a few years back. As a knew a few hairdressers, I was told that they are good, but said that FH1's wer better. So got her them. I only know about the thin and wide. Wide for thick and long hair, thin for shorter hair, like bobbed hair.

Just asked the women in work, they said thin as they will be able to get closer to the roots of your hair and to do your fringe. Long ones are harder to do a fringe with. Plus they tend to burn the hair if you are trying to do short lengths.

You used to get free stuff when you brought one from the official site (heat mat, spray etc) but it doesn't look they're doing that now so Amazon should be fine.

I did notice a pack though that included a hairdryer in a fancy set sort of thing - though I'm not sure if it's worth the extra?

My wife has the medium ones m8 and she has shoulder length hair.

They are great and she swears by them, got em from amazon too. (dont understand why u wouldnt order from them, they are hardly going to sell copies)
