Default Sky HD with a single feed

Can anyone shed any light on this for me?

My parents have just moved into a flat which has a communal dish installed but only a single feed to the lounge. They paid Sky to install HD and this week a subby installer turned up, plugged the box into the single feed, got the box working and fcuked off.

What I'm interested to know is should the 'specialist' flat installation team have looked into this and investigated the user of a multiplexer on the single cable?

    Thanks
    Stu.... :-)

    Nope, its a basic install.

The best option is to ask the landlord to look at installing a 2nd feed and if that cannot be done its a single feed only Im affraid, thats unless the landlord allows a 2nd dish to be installed just for the flat.

    Regards

    PS,

Sky or its installers cannot touch any equipment owned by another company or landlord.
