Default Help, phone stuck on Apple Logo after carrier name change

    Hi All

please help, i was mucking about changing the carrier logo on my iphone 4 4.1 1.59.00 using iPhone explorer (which didnt work) so then tried an app on Cydia called MakeitMine which did work, but when i went to reset it to default using MIM (by leaving the text blank and then pressing the carrier button) i pressed respring and the phone shut down but when it came back on it just got stuck on the apple logo

i did make a backup of my phone before playing around with the carrier logo so forced the phone into recovery mode, went to itunes but there is no option to restore from backup when right clicking the phone icon, and if i click normal restore it warns that it will update to the latest firmware, which i dont want to do as i will lose my untethered JB and Unlock

ive had a look around on google for a fix to this but have not found anythign that works, any help/advice please??

sorted the long way by restoring with 4.1 firmware using tinyumbrella (dont know if i needed to or not, but didnt want to risk the BB being updated) re-jailbreak and re-unlock and restore using the backup i made earlier in the day

wont be fiddling with every mod i find anymore - lesson learnt!!

I didn't notice the age of the post and read the original and thought "Dude, get a new phone...".
