Help How to put films and mp3 onto Acekard2i for XL

Hi, my kids have got the XL cards with games on but I am wanting to put films and mp3's on it, it already has folders on the card saying GAMES IN HERE which obviously is where I put all the games in and all working fine, also says FILMS IN HERE and MP3'S IN HERE. I have read that you have to convert the files to dpg which I have downloaded and converted a peppa pig and placed it into FILMS IN HERE but when I put the cartridge in it doesn't see it. Am I doing something wrong.....

Never bothered converting movies for the NDS, but have put mp3's on the card but needed a homebrew player to play them.

you need to use moon shell to play the files, its well documented on its usage. There may be other options now as the last time i used it was years ago. For a while it was very easy to find movies already converted, but you are probably better off converting an avi yourself.

Yes use moonshell you can get it from Filetrip. Then you run that like a standard game (i.e. copy nds file plus a directory over and select from game menu) and get a file list highlight the movie and click the a button it plays.

To convert the movies use Batchdpg, I've done a load in the last few days for my kids.

It works quite well, not had any trouble with it so far.
