hi need same ones help my sis iphone only shows the apple cable sign all was working fine unlocked jailbroke the battery went flat and when i went to charge it the iphone showed apple cable logo tryed restore get error 23 now

what happens when you let itunes try and fix?

You seem to have had a few 3G's like this ?
I had a simillar problem and got a friend to take a look at it on another computer. Apparently iy updated via iTunes without a problem.
Maybe it is a problem with your PC/operating system ?
