ipod touch 4.2.1 Jailbreak?

I've got an Ipod Touch (2g MC) which I've just updated to 4.2.1. Is there anyway of jailbreaking this yet? I've tried Redsn0w and Snowbreeze to no avail. There seems to be a bit of confusion as to whether this can actually be done or not. Any help and a tutorial would be gratefully received.

It is possible now mate, but as far as i am aware, at this very moment is is a tethered jailbreak

GreenPo1son is on its way which should make it untethered, but im not sure if that is for all devices.

You can but you will need it connecting to your pc to reboot

Run redsnow in xp compatible mode in win7 , saves it crashing all the time.
And when you get the Cydia icon on the phone you need to turn it off
And usu redsnow to ,just boot tethered.
You will get the pineapple and the idevice will be jb

Sorry to butt in on this thread but what is the highest firmware on ipod touch 2g/3g 8gb MC that can be jailbroken untethered? I'm currently on 3.1.3 but want to wipe it and start afresh.

Not been able to make this work. Looks as though 2g MC models are not supported yet. Redsnow just tells me that it's not supported and to try back soon. Any ideas?

I was gonna mention this earlier in the thread but thought the other poster must know better or something, AFAIK there is no jailbreak yet for the MC version a I am in the same boat with my sons, updated it a month ago and its now stuck with no JB at teh moment until something comes out.

I jailbroke a 3G mc iPod touch 2 days ago using the latest version of Redsnow. It was on the latest firmware updated through iTunes but is a tethered jailbreak. As mentioned before though an untethered method is around the corner !

Used Green Poison r5 on mine a minute ago and worked fine.
But previous versions didnt work.
