Iphone 3GS unlock question

I've managed to get hold of an Iphone 3GS which is locked to 02, i'm looking to unlock it for use with my 3 sim, my question is, how easy/hard is it to do? and does the method of unlocking make it unusable with itunes after?

Would it be just easier to sign up to 02?

Any help appreciated, cheers.

You need to say what version of firmware and BB (which is the modem firmware) the phone is running

Modem Firmware is 05.15.04

Your fooked , unless you want to upgrade the modem firm to a iPad version.
But you dont won't to do that.
Just wait new tools soon when new iOS rolled .

Or put a o2 sim I. It and call o2 they will factory unlock ir for a price , it's not expensive

thats the best way because you can always update to the latest baseband and jailbreaks always come out a while before unlocks.

it's �15 that is deducted from a PAYG sim
