usbloader channel returns to system menu

having a bit of trouble with this one and have already tried a few things.

trying to get a forwarder channel working with cfg usb loader.

wii is on 4.3 and cfg is working if i load it through homebrew channel, but if i use a forwarder it goes to a black screen and just goes back to the menu.
tried a couple of different forwarder channels too.

have read i needed ios58 and have installed it but the same thing happens so not sure what to try next.

have got it working now with another usb hdd.

seems like for some reason the hard drive i was using was incompatible, may be something to do with ios58 or usb2 compatibility.
