    Default Carpet cleaning

Am going to be moving flat in the next 4-5 weeks. Old flat has cream carpets and after 4 years of use are looking a little bit grotty. Am not keen to get professional cleaners in as they over charge and last time we paid £150 for them to do very little.

Anyone have any suggestions in terms of cleaning? Its a three bed flat with 3 flights of stairs and a living room. Anyone rented a carpet shampooing machine before? Any good?

I'd probably be looking to do the cleaning over a few days, not all at once.

    Cheers.

Start at the top work your way down.
supermarkets used to rent em out fairly cheap but aint seen any for some time now.
Only in Britain….do we use the word “politics” to describe the process of Government. “Poli” in Latin meaning “many” and “tics” meaning “bloodsucking
    creatures”

I'm in an identical position to the OP, but the landlord's agents require a receipt for proof of work. They also require the same for an oven cleaning company.

So that's an easy £100 for something I could get the Mrs to do

I was down at the local Focus asking about this yesterday - they have the RugDoctor machines at £19.99 for the small one for 24 hours and £29.99 for the bigger one.

All you need to take is photo id and proof of address and you're all sorted!
